Bio
Ariya Ashkan aka [Xcept] is a producer, DJ, and live performer based out of Iran. He began his career playing funky house sets at underground parties in and out of Tehran over ten years ago. His passion for synths and industrial sound has helped influence his productions, as well as the classics of Detroit Techno. His live performances include collaborations with visual artist Shaheen Aghdam aka “possypoem”. Shaheen creates hyperactive videos edited to match the sounds [Xcept] produces. These videos are then projected during the performances.
